Patient kiosk will help ED waiting times

Thames Hospital is the first in New Zealand to trial a patient kiosk, an idea which won Clinical Director, and Telehealth Forum member, Dr Ruth Large a finalist position at the Clinicians Challenge in 2013. Ruth says winning the Challenge gave her the opportunity to work with a local company who did the design – ‘Great to know that this sort of thing is designed in NZ and in the same DHB where it will be trialled!’  – Read more
